Hi, I have, what appears to be the top of one of the obelisk tables. It is silver in colour…is very heavy…and identical to the one on your site. On the back is the obelisk with the M E. Also ‘musterschutz 5328’. Have you any idea of the value please? also, have you any idea of the metal used in these pieces?
Hi, Christine! The metal used in the Obelisk tables is cast iron, probably with a finish in silver.
I have different cast jugendstil / art nouveau tables from the family estate. They are German. Does anyone know where to find more information about the complete tables catalogue 1908 as shown above? Or has anyone more information about the Eisengiesserei L.Meyer & Co Harzgerode around that time?
I have one of these tables, same marks, different table. Was curious where you got the catalog to look them up in?
I have a ME desk like table that is very decorative. It was a family members and I am trying to fund out the value of it.
